The opening schedule provides a mixture of established rivalries, ambitious clubs and newly promoted teams looking to make an immediate impact. London City Lionesses and Manchester United get the campaign under way on Friday evening, before Chelsea and Aston Villa meet at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Sunday then delivers five further matches, including Arsenal’s trip to Brighton and Manchester City’s home meeting with Birmingham City.
