About the Game
Devil’s Delight is a Video Slot with 5 reels and three rows incorporating 40 paylines. There are 9 regular pay symbols that win if three or more are lined up on a payline, beginning with the leftmost reel, plus coins and several different gem symbols which pay if the Devil character lands in the special centre position. There are also two treasure chests which sit above the reels, which if opened will award a number of Free Spins. 3 special Devil collectors can be unlocked by landing a number of devil symbols, each activating a different modifier when landing alongside any coins or gems.
Devil Symbols
The devil symbol is the collector symbol and can land in the centre position on the reels, if any coins or gems also land their prize is awarded. Special devils, with different colour backgrounds, can be unlocked by landing a number of devil symbols. Each time a devil lands, with or without any coins/gems, it will decrement a counter displayed on screen. Once unlocked they remain so, and this game state will persist when the game is exited.
Once 5 devils have landed the BOOST devil is unlocked. This appears with green flames behind him. If landing alongside any coins or gems he will shoot fire at one or more of them. Any coins hit will turn into a gem, any gems hit will turn into any higher gem, the Grand gem will not be hit by a green fireball.
Once a further 10 devils have landed the MULTI collect devil is unlocked. This appears with blue flames behind him. If landing alongside some coins or gems he will produce a multiplier (up to 4x) which is applied to all coin and gems prizes within the reel window before collecting them.
Once a further 15 devils have landed the RESPIN collect devil is unlocked, this appears with red flames behind him. If landing alongside any coins or gems they will lock in place before re-spinning the remaining reels to try and add extra ones. This continues until either the reels are full of coins and gems, or a new one is not introduced. All coins and gems are then collected.
The amount of devils required to activate the next level of devil is displayed in a meter next to the reels. The status of the counter will persist when the game is exited.
Coin/Gem Symbols
On the reels there are golden coins and 4 different coloured gem symbols. The coin symbols each display a cash value, the 4 coloured gems are each associated with the 4 pot prizes – MINI (green gem), MINOR (blue gem), MAJOR (purple gem) and GRAND (red gem), the name of the pot is displayed on the gem. These prizes are awarded when a Devil also lands in the centre position.
The coins may display the following values (as multiple of base bet): 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x.
The values of the pot prizes are displayed on screen and change depending on the size of the base bet selected: MINI = 5x, MINOR = 15x, MAJOR = 100x, GRAND = 1000x.
Wild Symbol
The wild symbol is the Devil symbol, and substitutes for all pay symbols for payline wins.
Treasure Chests
Two treasure chests are displayed above the reels, one or both are added to each time the Devil lands on the reels. Each time they are added to they may grow in size, and may randomly open to award a number of Free Spins. The size of the chest has no effect on the chance of opening the chest.
A special golden version of the treasure chest may appear above the reels which contains more free spins. A standard chest contains 6 Free Spins; a golden chest contains 12 Free Spins. Each time a chest is opened it will reset in size and may also change colour.
The size of each chest persists when changing bet size. The state of the treasure chests will persist when the game is exited.
Reel Modifiers
Occasionally at the start of a spin the throne character will shoot a wave of flames over the reels, darkening out pay symbols and lots more coins/gems being shown spinning through. This guarantees a devil will land alongside some coins and gems in this spin.
Occasionally at the end of a spin the throne character can shoot fire at the centre reel. This will make it nudge up or down to a devil symbol. Only the win from the final position is awarded from the nudge modifier.
Free Spins
Free Spins are awarded when opening the Treasure Chests in the base game. The Devil which triggered the free spins is locked in place, the colour of the flames behind him will alternate during each Free Spin to any which have been unlocked in the base game.
The treasure chests continue to be added to every spin in the bonus by the devil, and if open award extra spins. If a chest is opened it is then closed and returned to its smallest size and can be opened multiple times during free spins. When it resets it may also change colour. At the end of free spins whatever size the treasure chests have been built up to persists into the subsequent base game.
If any coins or gems land they are guaranteed to be awarded with the Devil in play every spin, if a special coloured flame lands behind the devil the modifier is awarded as per the base game. Free Spins are played with the same bet and lines as the base game.
In base bet mode a maximum of 24 Free Spins can be initially awarded (2 gold chests), plus 72 extra Free Spins during the bonus, 96 Free Spins in total.
How to Play
- Press the Spin button to start the game.
How to Calculate Wins
- To calculate your total payline win, calculate all payline wins and add them together.
- To calculate a single payline win, count the number of identical symbols lined up in sequence on the line starting from the leftmost reel.
- If three or more identical symbols are lined up, find the win value in the dynamic Pay Table. There you can find the value for all symbols for 3 in a row, 4 in a row and 5 in a row. Only the highest winning combination per line is paid out.
- Any winning lines you have will be highlighted and your winnings will be credited to your winnings panel.
- At the start of the Bonus round, all wins achieved from the reels are added to the Bonus.
